Dr. Young has an innate ability to see the need for change most often before others do.
She has extensive experience in developing new ideas that have resulted in the successful creation of numerous initiatives that change organizations.  She is most comfortable developing and mentoring people to implement these changes.  Most often this requires significant bridge building between people who often distrust one another.  Her success is that she does this through compassionate coaching, mentoring, and teaching that have led to the people and in creating new departments, centers, programs, and curriculums.  She also works with companies and non-profit organizations to help management see problems as opportunities. She then guides them through the development of a proactive strategy to make the changes sustainable.   She coaches leaders about ways of being that support the necessary change in organizations.  She has founded numerous centers in institutions of higher education focused on new leadership models.  Currently, Dr. Young is the Managing Partner of the Worldwide Change Group in San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Young earned her Ph.D. in Latin American Studies and International Strategic Management from Tulane University in 1993, MBA from Loyola University in 1982, and B.S. in Finance and Economics from FSU in 1978.  She earned certificates in International Negotiations, Board Leadership, Strategic Marketing, and Executive Coaching and Leadership from several graduate schools including Harvard and Villanova universities.  Before completing her doctorate, Dr. Young worked as a strategic analyst for a leading multinational company in the oil services industry.  Dr. Young has been recognized on numerous occasions for her outstanding teaching and community service.
